We have pulled together four highly valuable training sessions for current and potential mentors to attend and benefit from, ahead of the Regional Mentoring programme returning again in October.
Whether you are a current mentor looking for ideas to refresh your mentoring methods or someone who has never done mentoring before but keen to support the younger generation - register for one of our mentor training sessions and get the most out of your mentoring experience.
We have pulled together four training sessions, which aim to equip mentors with useful information about the Regional Mentoring Programme and to give invaluable advice on effective methods to apply in your mentoring, tips on engaging with your mentees and building a special and fruitful bond.
The sessions will take place on 22nd August, 6th September, 13th September and 19th September here in our eventspace in Sunderland, from 13:00 till 16:00 o’clock.
Register and come along to meet the Mentoring Team here at RTC as well as fellow mentoring colleagues, ask any questions, provide opinion and feedback from the past year.
The training is suitable for new interested mentors joining in the 2018/19 programme; however current mentors who would like to refresh their knowledge and meet new mentors are also welcome to attend.
The programme, funded by the Careers and Enterprise Company, in collaboration with the North East and Tees Valley LEPs, has been a huge success with both mentors and mentees having positive interactions and observing mutual accomplishments throughout its course.
